Applicants who have completed a master's program with a score of 55% or higher (or equivalent) are eligible to apply. SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates are allowed a 5% mitigation. The entrance examination consists of two parts, A and B, where A is a general aptitude test and B is a subject-specific test. The entrance exam syllabus is based on the UGC NET/JRF syllabus. Candidates who have obtained NET/JRF qualifications are exempt from the entrance examination. ITM (SLS) University of Baroda's doctoral program selection process is based on entrance exam and interview results. Successful applicants of the entrance examination will be invited for an interview. An interview panel will assess the candidate's research ability, subject knowledge, and communication skills.
